How Do You Become An Actor Influencer? - Modelfactory

An influencer is, by definition, a person who has an established YouTube channel and/or Instagram account that has garnered no less than 10,000 subscribers. In doing so, talent has achieved remarkable impact with their audience, an attractive prospect for advertisers and, in turn, may require agents to interact with an influencer.
Becoming a real influencer gives a whole new meaning to establishing and promoting your brand. In fact, the influence of influencers can be felt by simply asking anyone under the age of 25 what they see the most. Possible answer? youtube.
From Justin Bieber to Anna Kendrick, from Hannah Hart to Shawn Mendes, from Jenna Marbles to Liza Koshy, from Michelle Phan to Darren Criss, all of these people have probably improved their performance and thought about themselves, playing and have improved their ability to respond. Committed to constantly creating new content for our YouTube channel and Instagram accounts.
However, that rigorous program is not for the faint of heart. It demands stamina, especially after shooting hours and hours of footage. Each became better prepared to go through the tough days of production, develop creative problem solving, and eventually feel more grounded and comfortable with "being yourself" in front of the camera. But it didn't happen overnight or without huge investments of money, time and myself.
Becoming an influencer seems like a potential development, or yet another opportunity, to master commercial work for many actors to say an impressive and entertaining way. After all, isn't this the first thing you hear at an audition: "Just be yourself"?
Like many things, becoming a successful influencer requires skill and tenacity, and it also requires a distinctive personality and attitude. Many try but few succeed as impressive. And unlike other forms of social or new media, influencers demonstrate personality, passion, and ideas on a variety of topics, rather than focusing on just one.
Dedicating yourself to consistently delivering 2-3 vlogs (3-10 minutes long) twice a week seems too easy at first…unless you have to deliver products consistently. Staying trustworthy, authentic, and consistent week after week while delivering compelling content for a year or more is how and why so many potential influencers make or break.
Knowing what you can and cannot use on these platforms is also a hurdle. YouTube and Instagram accounts are more easily flagged today than ever before for a variety of reasons, such as using unlicensed music or falsely filling their numbers with paid followers or bots.
So before you dedicate yourself to becoming a real influencer, make sure you:
- Have something to say.
- Do it in a smart and entertaining way that best reflects your personality and interests.
- Be consistent and make sure you use multiple social media streams.
- Connect with other (successful) influencers to share your social media resources; There is safety in numbers.
- Establish your audience and later, your approval.
- Leverage your YouTube channel and/or IG with agents who represent influencers (not all of them do!)
- The goal of becoming an influencer is to establish ourselves as a brand and align ourselves with complementary, like-minded brands with the intention of uplifting each other. Think of it as an evolved form of teamwork and collaboration.
Score endorsements are essentially the same reason you are hired for a commercial job as an actor. And like commercial work, you should transition into film and television projects. I have long argued that mastering business functions is critical to subsidizing your career as an actor and broadcaster, and becoming an influencer can help your small business grow as a professional talent with social media. Gives new meaning to develop.
