How Do I Get a Modeling Agency to Be a Model?

Plenty of new models choose to get a modeling agency because they help get you ahead for jobs to which you might not otherwise have access. The industry is certainly not at all about glitz and glamor as it may appear from an outsider's point of view. Unless you are doing a major campaign, you usually do not make a lot of money (at least not consistently.) Modeling can be physically, mentally and emotionally taxing. There can be a lot of competition between models because often many models die for the same, smaller pool for all jobs. This essentially means a lot of rejection, which can be emotionally draining. Their experience in the industry means that they will be able to market you correctly to the right customers, and will also provide useful feedback to help you grow as a model. This is especially important when you are beginning as a model.

You can also find work by applying directly to casting professionals in search of new or experienced models. ModelFactory is a great place to build your experience.

How Do I Get a Modelling Agency?

It is not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket, and thus you will have more options. Check out our latest agency casting calls for models. When you apply, make sure to fill out your application carefully, provide all the information needed, and make sure you have a great headshot on your ModelFactory profile.

Do I Need Professional Photos for a Model?

If you are just starting out as a model, good quality photos are a must, but when you do it right, the photos unbelievably force and sell both the product and your capabilities as a model. Huh. But they are not necessarily taken by a professional photographer.
